Aston Martin DB5

Deja un comentario

Featured primarily in Goldfinger. The most famous Bond car of all, it came with all the usual Q refinements that have been copied from film to film including bulletproof panels, oil slick, smoke screen, machine guns, rotating licence plates (valid in all countries), telescoping tire slashers, Homer screen, radar receiver in reaview mirror, bumper basher, and most famously, the passenger ejector seat. The Aston Martin was actually used to promote and sell Aston Martin’s cars by capitalizing on the Bond hype and mystique.
While being the most recognised Bond car, it’s actually only been featured in five films (Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, a small appearance in Tomorrow Never Dies, and Casino Royale – to this list can be added The World Is Not Enough, though shots of the DB5 being driven to MI6′s Scottish HQ were edited out.

License Plate: BMT 216 A

Features: Bulletproof armoured front and rear panels, oil slick, smoke screen, retractable .30 Caliber Browning machine guns behind front foglights, rotating licence plates, telescoping tire slashers, tracer receiving console, passenger ejector seat, in-car telephone, and a personal weapons rack under the driver’s seat. In Goldeneye, the Aston was stripped of all its gadgets and installed with a built-in drinks cooler in the armrest.

A Neuralyzer is a top secret device used by the MiB. It has the ability to wipe the mind of anybody who sees the flash. Once Neuralyzed, the “victim” will be given a new memory, to explain what they saw or what has happened.

A neuralyzer is a device varying in size, that wipes the memory of a target. The set length of memory erased can be changed using dials, and the effects can be reversed. In order for agents to not be harmed by the effects, they have “Ray-Ban” sunglasses, that reflect the rays. It is the standard equipment of MIB officers. After being neuralyzed, if the agent does not supply the new memory, or a group of people get neuralyzed, a special team is sent in to give memories, and change the enviornment to reflect these memories.

Nebuchadnezzar

Deja un comentario

The Nebuchadnezzar nicknamed the Neb, is the main hovercraft featured in The Matrix and Matrix Reloaded; it is used by the main characters Morpheus, Neo, and Trinity.

The inscription on its core read “Mark III No. 11 made in the USA year 2069.” Mark 3:11 reads “And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, they would fall down in front of him shrieking, ‘You are the Son of God!’”

In The Matrix, the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar is searching for Neo, whom Morpheus believes to be the One. When they find him, he is trained and taken to see the Oracle. While returning from the Oracle, Cypher betrays the crew, gives Morpheus to the Agents, and kills Dozer, Apoc, and Switch. Mouse dies before this. Neo and Trinity manage to save Morpheus from the agents, after which Neo becomes the One. The ship was heavily damaged when sentinels invaded the ship when Morpheus, Trinity and Tank were desperately waiting for Neo to come back to the real world through a portal before discharging the EMP, disabling the ship and the sentinels.

In Matrix Reloaded, the ship is seen again. Since the events of the first film, Tank has died, and Link has replaced him as operator. After Neo visits the Oracle, the crew goes to a restaurant called Le Vrai and takes the Keymaker from the Merovingian’s captivity. Later that night, with the help of the crews of the Vigilant and the Logos, and the exile Keymaker, Neo enters the Source and speaks to the Architect.

The Nebuchadnezzar is destroyed by a Sentinel’s tow bomb near the conclusion of Reloaded, right after Neo leaves the Architect. The crew escapes before the ship’s destruction thanks to Neo’s newfound ability to identify and assume limited control over Sentinel hardware using his powers as The One as shown at the conclusion of the film. The crew are found by the hovercraft Mjolnir very shortly after.
